In my humble opinion 5G is really potential and interesting, but the lack of real life applications are limitating the advantages of this protocol.
I believe that in the near future, with the potential emergence of the metaverse and advancements in AI, 5G will become increasingly important as it enables participation in a broad technology ecosystem.
